Avish's Favorite Movies
Not a definitive list, and not in order (except for 1 & 2), here are some of the movies that I love.

Jaws
- Best movie ever! Get it, watch it, love it!

Pretty Woman - Yeah, it's a sappy romance, but what can I say? This movie rocks! Number 2 on my list, and therefore my #1 romance of all time. |

Terminator 2: Judgment Day - Yeah Arnold!! Easily in Arnold's top 3 movies, and definitely my favorite. This movie contains of my favorite action sequences in film. |

American Pie -This is perhaps the only main stream high school comedy that paints a realistic picture of high school life. This movie is not only hilarious, but sweet at times as well. |

Scream - A really cool movie. This movie launched a series of copycats which didn't come even close to being as good. Scream is funny, scary, and plays on the whole slasher genre. I also really like the director's commentary on the DVD. |

Galaxy Quest - Freakin' hilarious! A friend had to point out the genius of this movie to me, but once he did, boy was I hooked! Every charcter has at least one hilarious line or moment, and most have many. This may be the movie most currently quoted by yours truly. |

Swingers - An excellent movie, and very apropros. If you've ever been a young male who hangs out with friends and has been in and out of love, this movie is the best. Vegas baby!! |

Thirteen Days - I didn't live through this, so I can't attest to its accuracy, but as a movie, it's awesome! The politics going on are great, and it has great tension even though we know what happens. Do try to ignore Costner's accent, though. |

Murder by Death - This is a really funny play on old school murder mysteries. Contains many priceless lines, as well as a non-Obi Wan Alec Guinness |

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Complete First Season - Ok, so it's a tv show, not a movie. So what? It's one of the best shows on tv, and tied for the best show with a full season DVD with the Simpsons. The first season is great, even though it doesn't compare to the 2nd and 3rd. Oh, and for all you Emmy voters who I know visit this site, make sure to nominate this show! |

- As I said above, this is tied with Buffy for best show with a full season DVD out. I like later seasons more than season 1, but this is still great! |
