Tony Amatuzio

tony.jpgTony is a native of the land known as Delaware - we haven't figured out if that explains his absurd behavior or his having to always go to the bathroom right before a show - in which he explains "it's an hour long ride in the car to get here - after a large beverage - you would do the same, my god man you would do the same!!"

Tony has been clowning around since he was a kid - you may have seen him performing at his local catholic school while the teacher left the room - and then unfortunately for him he was still performing when the teacher would come back.

He specifically remembers one time singing "ding-dong the Witch has come!!" right as his 3rd. grade teacher walked into the room - and needless to say his classmate's were laughing, but his teacher wasn't!! (she'll remain nameless - for his own protection) Let's just say he spent many day's in the principal's office and in detention!! Tony also did hard time in public and private school with quite similar results.

Eventually Tony decided to pursue comedy a bit more seriously - no really, I mean honestly. He started off with classes at Comedy Sportz and by taking in different improv show's from all over the country (which he still does). In mid 2000 he joined the Philadelphia long-form improv group called "Next Line Improv" and still performs with them regularly in and around the city. He has performed with "Next Line Improv" in the Philadelphia Fringe Festival the last two years.

Tony joined Polywumpus in April of 2001 and has really enjoyed the fun audiences and his great teammates.
